Konsert / Concert

I lördags lyssnade jag på Stravinskys verk Le Sacre du Printemps (Våroffer). För mig uttrycker inget annat musikstycke vårens dramatik lika bra. Allt finns där, vårfåglarna, de första knopparna och blommorna, bina – och samtidigt de plötsliga stormarna med kast mellan sol, regn och snö. Det var ett gästspel av Göteborgs Symfoniker på Stockholms Konserthus. En fantastisk konsert.

Last Saturday I listened to Stravinsky´s work Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring). For me no other music work embodies the drama of spring as well. It is all there, the spring birds, the first buds and flowers, the bees – and at the same time the sudden storms with shifts between sun, rain and snow. It was a special performance by Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Stockholm Concert Hall (Konserthuset Stockholm). A fantastic concert.
